I think all the require is a birth certificate or driver's license for proof of citizenship.

Since there is so much travel to Mexico done by American citizens, you do not need your passport to travel there, unfortuneatly you do need your passport to enter the Grand Cayman.

as far as i know u dont not need a passport to travel to Mexico. i have done it several times. However I would get a passport if I was going
to go back to mexico or even canada. the reason being u never know if there will be any trouble and it would be best to have one to prove your country of origin.

because of 9/11, you need a passport to go anywhere outside the USA, if they let you go out without one you are not going to be able to get back into the USA. Takes a while to get a passport, if you don't get it in time go to St Croix or St Thomas, its the USA so travel is allowed with US id's, no Passport necessary!!!

Get a passport to be on the safe side. Go tomorrow, and pay for the expedited service, so you will receive it on time.
We needed passports to go to Cabo.
