Example Trinidad Vs Jamaica. Over a dispute of bauxite or whatever.
Here is another scenario, lets say that the mother countries are at war with each other. Lets say France and Dutch, would the dutch and french Caribbean islands go at war with each other also?

Very unlikely.
I can't see France and the Netherlands going to war, either - that's what the European Community is for - to give them a channel for their aggression.

Not very likely.
1. Most Caribbean countries are dependent on other Caribbean islands for something or the other. If one economy collapses for any reason it would have serious implications for the other nations, particularly if it's Jamaica, T&T or one of the other major economies in the region.
2. the CARICOM agreement is partially there to prevent such a situation from occuring.
3. Mother countries?? The only countries that could be drawn into disputes by their 'mother countries' would be those that are territories, not republics and the like. Think St. Maarten, Barbados, Turks and Caicos, US Virgin Islands etc.

lol...well this is a diffferent day and age for Caribbean islands to be at war with each other in a physical way...they are many ways to come to a solution and I do not think that a war will ever happen.
Hope I helped!

Very unlikely. Why the hell would France and the Netherlands go at war? They are friends and not so stupid to fight over that sort of things! Where have you been hiding?
